轮胎为什么只有黑色的

现在的轮胎都是黑的,主要还是生产的时候为了增强轮胎的性能,往里面加了炭黑的原因。

至于为什么不做成彩色的,其实以前有厂家试过的,但是彩色轮胎一直没火起来,也就不了了之了。

最初,轮胎颜色其实是白的

轮胎一开始的颜色不是黑的。

1868年,美国人查尔斯·古德伊尔,英文跟你说叫“Goodyear”(固特异),发明了硫化橡胶,橡胶才开始用到了轮胎上。

这就是大家比较熟悉的现在的固特异轮胎,有个飞艇在天上飞的那玩意儿,就是为了纪念他而命名的。

刚开始的轮胎颜色就是橡胶本身的颜色,什么颜色?白色或者是淡黄色。比如说:1894年生产的别克车用的轮胎就是白的,而且没有任何花纹的。

就好像:一开始做的木质家具,可能就是木头本身的颜色一样。

颜色变黑是因为加入了炭黑

最初的橡胶轮胎造出来之后,大家发现,存在容易老化、皲裂、不耐磨、寿命不长等等各种问题。

大家就想:这橡胶里面加点什么东西可以来解决这个问题?

就好像现在的食物添加剂:不够香、不够味、保质期不够、吃起来不够Q弹,加加加加加,各种东西都可以加。

20世纪初,人们发现炭黑对橡胶有补强作用,从此炭黑逐渐成为橡胶工业不可缺少的原材料了,炭黑对橡胶的补强作用很强。

当炭黑添加量为50份时,硫化胶的主要性能指标如:拉伸强度、撕裂强度、断裂伸长率、绝对磨耗质量

你看,就很猛了。

既然名字叫“炭黑”,颜色不用讲了,就是黑的嘛,所以后面轮胎都是黑的了,当然性能也强了很多。一句话就是“我变黑了,我也变强了”。

为什么不做成彩色

有厂商做过彩色轮胎,但没有消费者买账

彩色为什么不做?玩点花样嘛,对不对?黑色再好,颜色好看说不定也能影响生意的,对不对?

就有点马自达的味道,活塞发动机再好,弄个转子为什么不行嘛,对吧?也可以试一下的嘛。

1992年,米其林公司就和法国一家化工集团合作,用二氧化硅取代炭黑,也是取得了良好的效果的。

由于二氧化硅的固有颜色是白色,就可以加入不同的染色剂,轮胎就可以选颜色了。二氧化硅代替炭黑效果是不错的,轮胎的性能也是能够有保证的。

沉淀二氧化硅作为橡胶补强当中最具有前途的炭黑替代品,和炭黑相比,它具有极性大、活性高、较强的吸附能力、补强性能很好。

在此之外,国内的厂商还曾经生产过彩色的轮胎,比如说:双星就在2011年生产出了世界上首条彩色轮胎。

不光如此,双星还宣布了:彩色轮胎适用轿车「嗯嗯」、军车、越野车,把它能搞成迷彩的了嘛,对不对?这个打仗有用。

而且消费者还可以个性化定制,百搭,是不是?还私人定制。

但如今快10年过去了,彩色轮胎马路上好像没看到过。甚至双星的官网、天猫旗舰店也都没有彩色轮胎的身影的。

最关键的问题就是:价格。

双星彩色轮胎,不说米其林好了,半岛网曾经报道过:首批生产的192条彩色轮胎当中,价格最便宜的每条2000;最贵的每条8000块钱。

几乎是当时普通轮胎的4、5倍价格,普通消费者一般来说是很难为这个买单的,不是买不买得起,是觉得不值。

我们买苹果手机,紫色版本、土豪金版本或者蓝色版本、绿色版本,贵个2、3百,为了个时尚、为了个与众不同,也就买了就买了。

「哦」买个手机1万块,因为换了个颜色2万块,“我不买了!”大家都是这样的,对不对?

黑色轮胎根深蒂固,没必要做其他颜色的

还有一个就是:目前来讲,大部分的消费者都已经接受了轮胎就是黑颜色的设定、习惯了,其实也没必要做其他的颜色。

就好比:我们已经习惯了餐巾纸要么是白的,要么是黄的,搞一张绿色的餐巾纸或者搞一个鲜红的餐巾纸,用起来还不适应呢,慌兮兮的,对不对?

当某种思维定势在全民族中占统治地位的时候,就会持久稳定地起作用,往往支配着一代甚至多代人的思维活动。

说人话就是:轮胎是黑的,大家就觉得就是这样,已经是个思维定势了,在选择轮胎的时候,也会默认就是黑的。

如果不是黑的,要么就是质量有问题;要么就是贵的那个地方其实我是不要的。我不要彩色,给我便宜,我要黑的。

彩色轮胎因价格和思维定势不被喜欢

所以总得来说,轮胎早期的时候不是黑的,一改良,找到了炭黑这么个玩意儿,它就黑了,已经形成思维定势了。

虽然是有技术可以做到彩色,但是彩色没有大的必要,而且哪怕有这个必要,价格大家也不买这个单。
